Carbon Intensity Indicator(CII) Regulatory Response
The CII regulation is applied to ships engaged in international navigation
with a total tonnage of 5,000 tons or more (vessels subject to the 26.3 rule in Annex 6 of MARPOL).

CII Grade
The CII rating consists of five levels: A (very good), B (excellent), C (moderate), D (somewhat inferior), and E (low).
SEEMP Part with corrective action plan to achieve CII acceptance if the ship's CII grade is E grade for a single year
or D grade for three consecutive years If III is developed and not improved, operations may be restricted.
